Re-examination of films that have been examined by the Central Film Examination Committee is not required to be screened outside Kathmandu Valley. However, films that have been screened by the local film screening committee will have to be screened again to be screened in another district.
18A. Screening fees for films:- According to Rule 17, the following fees will be charged when screening films:-
(a) For indigenous films of up to one hour duration, films made in the mother tongue of tribals/tribes or advertisement films, Rs. 3,000.-
(b) For indigenous films of more than one hour duration Rs. 5,000.-
(c) For foreign films Rs. 15,000.-
18B. Remuneration:-
The chairman and members of the film screening committee will receive the following salary and transportation expenses as determined by the ministry from the person checking the film for screening the film:-< /p>
(a) Five hundred rupees for screening of indigenous films and advertisement films of up to one hour,
(b) One thousand rupees for examining a domestic or foreign film of more than one hour duration.
